How we assessed the tools
We ranked for a Dutch organisation with dozens to thousands of contracts that wants to manage the whole contract lifecycle in one tool. We looked at six criteria:
Whole lifecycle
Can you draft, approve, sign, store and track in one tool?
Notice periods and renewals
Does the tool warn you before the last date to give notice, not just before the end date?
E-signing
Is e-signing built in and included, or do you pay per credit or through a separate tool?
AI
Does the tool read an uploaded contract, and can you see where in the contract the data comes from?
Dutch market
Dutch language, support and knowledge of Dutch contract practice.
Total cost
Is pricing transparent, and what does it cost over three years including users, signing and AI?
Looking for something else, such as just a register, or are you a large legal department that also manages disputes and IP? Then the ranking changes. See the decision guide further down.
1. LooopBest overall for small and mid-sized organisations
Who it is for: Dutch organisations that want to draft, approve, sign and track contracts in one place, without a large implementation project.
Strengths:
- The whole lifecycle in one tool: approval workflows, e-signing, alerts on the last date to give notice, tasks, KPIs, risk management and reporting.
- Nora AI reads uploaded contracts and suggests the counterparty, term and notice period, with the source passage from the contract.
- E-signing, Nora AI, KPI monitoring and risk management are in every plan, with no credits.
- Integrations with HubSpot, Pipedrive and AFAS, and an open API that is currently in testing.
Watch out for: Dispute and IP management are not included as standard. A broad legal platform like Legisway is built for that, but then you pay at least around €13,000 a year straight away. If you need it, we build it in Looop as custom work for your organisation: you pay once, and you are not tied to expensive recurring fees for it.
Price: From €59 per month. Business from €299 per month, Enterprise (10 users) from €499 per month. Tailored pricing.
2. ContractifyBest for a smart contract repository
Who it is for: Organisations that want to store and search contracts centrally, with AI support. Belgian, with an office in the Netherlands.
Strengths:
- An extensive contract repository with automatic alerts.
- AI assistant Ada that analyses contracts and lets you chat with them.
- Approval and signing flows.
Watch out for: E-signing works with credits per plan. AI features vary a lot by plan; summaries and chat only in higher plans.
Price: On request.
3. GRIPBest for supplier KPIs in facility management
Who it is for: Organisations with many recurring supplier contracts, originally facility management, that steer on KPIs, indexation and invoice checks.
Strengths:
- KPI and SLA monitoring of suppliers after signing.
- Indexation calculations.
Watch out for: The entry plan is limited to 10 contracts and has no e-signing. KPI monitoring only from Pro, integrations from Pro Connect, AI extraction capped per year.
Price: €249 to €899 per month, Enterprise on request.
4. CricsBest for professional supplier management
Who it is for: Contract managers, buyers and lawyers who want professional contract and supplier management.
Strengths:
- Collaboration, KPI steering and task management, including suppliers reporting in the system.
- Issue management and extensive dashboards in the Professional plan.
Watch out for: The pricing page lists 'from' amounts without numbers of users or contracts and does not mention e-signing or AI. The step up to Professional is large.
Price: Contract Register from €47, Contract Manager from €119, Professional from €997 per month.
5. OneflowBest for sales teams that send a lot for signature
Who it is for: Organisations, often sales teams, that draft, negotiate and sign many contracts. Swedish, with an office in Amsterdam.
Strengths:
- Drafting and signing in one flow.
- AI to write, extract data and summarise.
Watch out for: Priced per user with a minimum of five users and annual billing only. Less built for tracking obligations and notice periods of purchase contracts.
Price: From €50 per user per month, minimum 5 users.
6. LegiswayBest for large legal departments
Who it is for: Large legal departments that also manage entities, disputes, intellectual property and real estate. Part of Wolters Kluwer.
Strengths:
- Broad legal management, with entity management at its core.
Watch out for: Contract management is one of many modules. E-signing works through an integration with an external tool. Expect an implementation project.
Price: Typically around €15,000 per year, excluding implementation.
7. JuroBest for international legal teams
Who it is for: International legal teams that draft, negotiate and approve contracts in the browser. British.
Strengths:
- Drafting and collaborating on contracts in the browser.
- AI for drafting and review, integrations with Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot and others.
Watch out for: Focuses mainly on English-speaking markets; Dutch language support is not mentioned on the pricing page.
Price: On request.
8. MijnContractBest for just a register with reminders
Who it is for: Small businesses and freelancers who only want an online register with reminders, at minimal cost.
Strengths:
- Simplicity and price: unlimited contracts and alerts.
Watch out for: No e-signing, workflows or AI mentioned, and annual billing only. Essentially one step up from a spreadsheet.
Price: From €99 per year.
Also reviewed
AFAS contract management: Part of the AFAS ERP system: a contract automatically creates a commitment in the books, and the owner gets a task before the notice period. A logical choice if you already use AFAS; e-signing is not mentioned on the product page.
Contractbook: Danish platform for drafting and automating contracts, part of the Swedish e-signature company Scrive since June 2025. Focuses mainly on English-speaking markets; confirm current pricing with the vendor.

How to choose
- Start with your biggest problem: missed notice periods need something different from a slow approval process.
- Pick three tools from this list and ask for a demo.
- Bring your own contracts and see how the tool handles a messy PDF and a notice period hidden in the terms and conditions.
- Compare the cost over three years, including signing, AI and extra users.
- Read the software contract itself: term, renewal, notice period and what happens to your data when you leave.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best contract management software for small and mid-sized businesses?
For small and mid-sized organisations that want the whole lifecycle in one tool (approval, signing, notice period tracking, AI that reads contracts), Looop is the most complete option, from €59 per month. If you only need a register with reminders, a simple tool such as MijnContract is enough.
Which contract management software is Dutch?
Looop, GRIP, Crics and MijnContract are Dutch vendors. Legisway is part of Wolters Kluwer. Contractify is Belgian with an office in the Netherlands, Oneflow is Swedish with an office in Amsterdam, Juro is British.
What does contract management software cost?
From about €99 per year for a simple register to around €15,000 per year for a broad legal platform. Most complete tools sit in between; Looop starts from €59 per month. Always compare the total cost over three years, including signing and extra users.
Which tools have e-signing built in?
Looop and Oneflow have e-signing built in; with Looop it is in every plan with no credits. Contractify works with credits per plan. With GRIP (entry plan) and Legisway it is not built in as standard.
Is a spreadsheet enough for contract management?
For a handful of contracts, yes. Once several people sign contracts, or you need to track notice periods hidden in terms and conditions, you will miss alerts, version control and an audit trail. Then a contract management tool costs less than one missed renewal.
