Looop vs Contractify: which contract management tool fits you?

At first glance Contractify and Looop look alike. The difference is in the details: how signing is charged, which AI you get in which plan, and what you know about the price up front.

E-signing in Looop, illustrating the comparison with Contractify

Contractify is a serious player in contract management. The Belgian company has an office in Breda, says it has more than 3,000 users worldwide, and offers a mature platform with a contract library, alerts, approval flows and AI.

Put Contractify and Looop side by side and at first glance they look alike. The difference is in the details, and those details determine what you pay in the long run and how much work you hand over.

This article is based on Contractify's publicly available information (contractify.io) in October 2026. Features and prices may change; when in doubt, check the vendor's current website.

Signing: unlimited or per credit?

This is the difference you notice in your budget first.

At Contractify, signing is part of every plan, but with a limit: 200 credits in Centralize, 500 in Collaborate. Once they are used up, according to Contractify itself you buy a new plan through their marketplace. For an organisation that mainly manages existing contracts that may be enough. But once you also have employment contracts, NDAs, data processing agreements and quotes signed digitally, it adds up quickly.

At Looop, e-signing is unlimited in every plan, including the entry plan. External parties sign via a secure link, without an account. You don't have to keep track of how many signatures you have left, or wonder whether a contract is "worth a credit".

AI: which features do you get in which plan?

Both tools have AI, but the split across plans differs.

Contractify's assistant is called Ada. The entry plan (Centralize) gives you an AI timeline. Summaries and chatting with your contracts come with Collaborate; searching your whole library and custom prompts with Control.

Looop's NORA AI is included in every plan, including the entry plan from €59 a month. NORA reads a contract on upload and suggests the counterparty, start date, end date and notice period. Two things are deliberately built differently:

  • NORA recognises your own organisation and does not suggest it as the counterparty, a mistake you often see with generic AI extraction.
  • When in doubt you get several candidates, each with the verbatim passage from the contract it is based on. So you see why NORA suggests something, and you decide.

You can also ask NORA questions about your portfolio ("which contracts expire in the next 90 days?"). The numbers in those answers come straight from the database, not from the language model. Why that matters is explained in AI in contract management: what it can and can't do.

More than a library: risks, KPIs and emails

Contractify is strong as a contract library: everything in one place, easy to search, with alerts. Looop goes a step further in what happens after signing:

  • Risk management per contract: record risks with likelihood and impact, assign an owner and track follow-up.
  • Tasks and KPIs: recurring obligations and performance agreements as tasks on the contract, with deadline and owner.
  • Email integration: the renewal letter, the price increase and the termination confirmation sit with the contract, not in someone's personal inbox.
  • Entity management (Enterprise): contracts, directors and obligations per legal entity, in a visual org chart.

Price: knowing where you stand

Contractify prices on request: you fill in a calculator or ask for a quote. That's common in this market, but it makes comparison harder. And the quote doesn't tell the whole story: add the signing credits, and the plan you need for the AI features you want.

Looop also tailors its price to your organisation and number of users. But you know up front roughly where you will land:

  • From €59 a month you can already use Looop, including unlimited signing, NORA AI and KPI monitoring
  • A Business plan starts from €299 a month
  • Enterprise with 10 users, entity management and HubSpot, Pipedrive and AFAS integrations starts from €499 a month

All prices exclude VAT, and there are no credits for signing or AI on top. How to compare the total cost of different tools fairly: what does contract management software cost?.

Where Contractify is strong

Contractify has an extensive AI chat across the whole contract library (in the Control plan), and the platform is used in several countries. If you are mainly looking for a mature, searchable contract library and price matters less, Contractify is a fine choice.

Conclusion

Contractify and Looop both do well what matters in contract management. The difference is in how you pay and how much you want handled after signing:

  • Want unlimited signing without tracking credits? Looop.
  • Want to know up front where you'll land, without separate fees for signing or AI? Looop.
  • Want to manage risks, KPIs and emails per contract as well as the register? Looop.
  • Mainly looking for a large, searchable library with AI chat, and budget is less of a concern? Then Contractify is worth a look.
